Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Infosys BPM.
Analyst
The company came to our college for final placements. The first round was an HR interview, which went well and lasted about 10 minutes. I was also shortlisted for a second, technical interview round. Placement committee members said we'd be called individually, but I never got a call from the company.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Tell me about your internship experience.
- What are your short-term goals?
Senior Analyst
It was an easy interview with several questions about financial statements and how they might be impacted by certain variable changes. We then moved on to discuss company profitability and the explanation of Excel functions. Some examples will be asked.
- What defines a profitable company?
Analyst
The interview process wasn't overly technical. It mostly focused on my previous experience and interest in finance. I had interviews with the team lead and manager, followed by a separate HR interview a few days later. The interviewers were pretty straightforward and welcoming. My advice is to be confident in your answers and prepare how you'll discuss your past experience.
- Can you discuss your previous work experience?
- What is your motivation for pursuing a career in finance?
