I was first contacted by a third-party screener who asked about my sales philosophy, past work experience, and motivation for wanting to join Informatica. After that, a corporate recruiter reached out. We talked more about my background, career path, knowledge of the company, and salary expectations. The recruiter also explained what to expect throughout the hiring process. The hiring manager's call was very relaxed and informal, focusing on getting to know me and my previous manager. Then, I moved on to what was described as a panel interview with sales managers and the sales director. Each of these interviews was actually a 1x1, lasting about 20 minutes. I found some questions could have been more challenging, with a few being typical and a bit tiresome. The final stage was a Role Play Call. I was assured it wasn't meant to trick me, and it wasn't. They didn't expect product knowledge but focused on how I'd approach a customer call to uncover pain points, upsell, and understand their budget and processes.

Had a 30 min call with the recruiter, then a 45 min in person with the Director. Director said decisions would be made two days later and that I would hear something either way. Never heard back. It's unprofessional to not follow up with candidates.
