Sales Development Representative
Applied online, had a 30 min prescreen with TA, then a first round with a team lead in Sydney, followed by another round with the Country Manager. Took a while but finally got scheduled for a 3rd round.

Sales Development Representative
I had a great interview experience overall. First, I was contacted by talent acquisition for a really personable HR call where they asked some standard behavioral questions. They let me know on the call that I moved on to the next round. Then, I was invited to interview in-person with the SDR Team Lead and the SVP. When I arrived, about 40 bags of El Jefe’s Taqueria had just arrived for the office, which was a nice touch. I was greeted by the SDR Lead and interviewed with him first. After he left, the SVP conducted the final interview. Both of them were genuine and seemed to have my best interests at heart, really caring about my success and growth at the company. They cared so much that they invited me to speak with the CEO, Mike Cotoia. Mike seemed like a great CEO, and he was extremely personable and encouraging. We spoke for about an hour, and he went in-depth about his life, how TechTarget was founded and grew, and seemed very passionate about me joining the team. He reassured me, saying, “I want to make sure you don’t feel pressured at all. That’s not my intention. I just truly believe TechTarget is the perfect place to learn and grow in a supportive environment.” I also got a full tour of the office, including meeting some current SDRs and AEs. The office has a sleek, modern aesthetic, a nice kitchen, an open floor plan, and height-adjustable desks. I was offered the position before meeting the CEO, and then received the written offer the next day, which I accepted.

Sales Development Representative
I submitted my application online, and the initial phone call I had was really informative. After that, I was asked to do a Zoom interview for the next steps. Sadly, the team member who interviewed me seemed totally uninterested from the very beginning, which unfortunately set the tone for the entire meeting.
- Can you introduce yourself briefly in 30 seconds?
