They reached out saying I seemed like a good fit for the role. The interview process had three stages: a phone call (lasting 10-15 minutes), a technical interview (2 hours long), and a final interview (20-30 minutes). The initial phone call involved discussing my background, experience, knowledge of the company, some behavioral aspects, and my familiarity with programming languages, particularly Java. The technical interview began with a discussion about my thesis and projects, programming preferences, and revisited questions from the phone screen, along with an explanation of their team's work. The first hour focused on fundamental concepts of Java, OOP, and SQL. The second hour was a live coding session. I was told I'd hear back within the week, but I didn't. After following up two weeks later, I got an invitation for the final interview. It was a positive experience, and I was assured of an offer.

The interview process was pretty straightforward, although they took a while to get back after the initial aptitude test. After the aptitude round, there were two technical interviews. The first one covered fundamental Java concepts, data structures, and algorithms. Since I had experience with Hibernate, they asked me to demonstrate writing its configuration and a mapping file. The second technical round was less demanding, focusing on how collections function internally, the specifics of hashmap and the equals() method, and concepts related to linked lists. It felt quite easy, especially given my past experience on the hiring side. They eventually extended an offer after a two-week delay, but I had to turn it down for a better opportunity and because I couldn't provide my graduation certificate, which turned out to be crucial. In this instance, the background check overshadowed individual capabilities.

I applied online and got a response within 3 days. They called me and scheduled an online interview. The first round was a technical interview via Skype with about 3 interviewers. They asked about core Java, advanced Java, Spring, and SQL for about an hour. Then, I had an in-person interview at their Malvern office. This interview lasted about an hour and covered more general topics like my strengths, weaknesses, my career choice, and how I handled past project challenges.
