First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Infobip.
Recruiter
The interview process started with a personal interview. I was informed that there would be another personal interview and a take-home assignment afterwards, but I didn't get to those stages. The first interview was a good chance to get information and have my questions answered. I even asked some bold questions, and the interviewers handled them well. The interviewers were professional, but I expected them to be more skilled. Their follow-up questions after I shared my experience were quite generic, not specific enough to delve deeper into my background. So, my plan to briefly introduce myself and elaborate later didn't work out. My advice for anyone interviewing with Infobip is to not expect specific follow-up questions, but to go into as much detail as possible about your experience upfront. They communicate about the recruitment process in a timely manner, but it's very general. For example, I wasn't given a clear reason why I didn't move forward, just notified of the decision.
- What are your 2-3 year career goals in HR?
- Would you consider working in areas of HR beyond talent acquisition?
- What research have you done on Infobip?
Talent Acquisition Specialist
Overall it was positive, nothing beyond what we are used to. I had the interview via Skype, in the first part we spoke in Portuguese and then in English. I found it very positive, as the recruiter made me feel comfortable to switch back to Portuguese if I felt any difficulty. But it wasn't necessary. I thought he would do a competency-based interview, but in fact, he wanted to know more about the tools and processes I master than about my profile and behavioral potential.
- What recruitment and selection tools are you familiar with and have you used?
Talent Acquisition Specialist
The interview process for this Talent Acquisition role included an initial conversation with the regional lead to assess experience fit. Following that, a case study assignment was given, to be completed within 5 days. This assignment involved creating job descriptions for two Infobip roles, outlining their selection methods, and defining sample candidate profiles.
- Can you define talent acquisition and explain how your background makes you a good fit for this position?
- What prompted your departure from your previous employer?
- What are your long-term career goals?
