Software Engineer
The interview had 3 rounds total. The first was a phone call, and the other two were in person. Round 1 was an HR screening call. Round 2 involved basic React and Node questions, plus some general development concepts like error codes, storage types, and questions about my past projects. Round 3 was a JavaScript and logic test.
- Can you explain React hooks and lifecycle methods?
- What are your thoughts on creating a wall of clocks for different countries, and how would you manage the state of each clock's time?
- Can you discuss some basic Node.js concepts?
Software Engineer Intern
It's for an on-campus software intern position. There are 3 rounds in total. First, there was a quantitative and analysis round, followed by two technical rounds and one HR round after the quiz round. They select about 10-15 students after the quiz round, and in the end, they hire 2 students. All questions were easy, and almost all students got the same questions. In the end, they select 2 students based on their overall CGPA.
- Questions about data structures were asked first, and then they moved on to other computer subjects, mainly computer networking and microprocessors.
Software Developer
I was contacted by the company after they saw my CV on Almalaura. They set up an initial meeting where they asked about my university background and soft skills. After that, I had an online technical interview on Microsoft Teams where I was given Java programming exercises.
- Mostly questions about object-oriented programming, and programming exercises.
