It was a 3 round process. In each round, they asked about my background, my experience in customer facing roles, any metrics and accomplishments from my last roles, and explaining the duties there. Each round was with a different member of their leadership specific to the office I'd be working in. Met with lead, director, and another director.

I went through 2 phone interviews and 1 in-person interview. The first two phone interviews were good, where they described the job and asked about my past experience. The in-person interview was quite eye-opening. I talked with three people who weren't recruiters. They mentioned that 12-hour workdays and working weekends are typical, and that there's a lot of micromanagement and a heavy focus on metrics. When I inquired about the tools available for recruiters, they listed the standard tools usually provided. Interestingly, when I asked each interviewer what they liked about working at ICS, everyone mentioned the pay, but nobody brought up the culture. Given that their commission structure isn't very competitive, it doesn't give anyone a compelling reason to choose this agency over others.

First, I had a phone call, pretty basic, could have given me more info though. Then, a tough three-hour in-person interview in a hot, windowless room. I met four guys. For most of the three hours, I was asked just three questions, and the rest of the time they wanted me to ask them stuff. From what they said, I got the vibe this place is good for new grads, frat guys, and people who plan to quit within a year because they hate recruiting.
