First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Infinity Consulting Solutions.
Program Manager
It was super easy and the HR people were really nice. The questions were pretty standard, nothing weird, and I was happy to move forward with the interview.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What makes you a good fit for this role?
- What interests you about our company?
Solutions Consultant
I interviewed with an ICS client initially, and the interviews seemed to go well. Both the client and ICS indicated a second interview would be scheduled, but it's been 8 weeks with no follow-up. It felt very unprofessional and rude, like it was all just talk and a big push until they realized I wasn't a quick hire. I've since accepted a management offer elsewhere through a professional and courteous recruiter. I'll be hiring three staff members and will definitely not use ICS for those roles.
- Can you describe your ideal role?
Product Manager
I had to drive to the ICS Minneapolis office for a meeting about the role. After I got there, they told me which company they were representing, which wasn't clear in the original listing. I mentioned I had already applied for a different job at that company. They said they were a new client and would let me know in a few days if they could represent me, and that they had other roles too. Nobody followed up, so I emailed them two weeks later. No response, so I contacted the company directly. The office manager told me they couldn't help with this specific role. They apologized for not responding but weren't helpful. I talked to their HQ in New York and the COO about the issue and got a lot of apologies, but I'm still jobless and was misled for two weeks after interviewing because they promised guidance and then ignored me. I'd tell others this company doesn't keep its promises, and it seems like they've done this before based on other reviews. They said it was unusual for them, but it felt impersonal, like they just wanted my info for their database.
- Can you talk about your experience with SAAS?
- Could you please provide an overview of your resume?
- What is motivating your search for a new opportunity?
Recruiter
First, I had a phone call, pretty basic, could have given me more info though. Then, a tough three-hour in-person interview in a hot, windowless room. I met four guys. For most of the three hours, I was asked just three questions, and the rest of the time they wanted me to ask them stuff. From what they said, I got the vibe this place is good for new grads, frat guys, and people who plan to quit within a year because they hate recruiting.
- What led you to a career in recruiting?
