So we started with a JAM (Just A Min) speech in a classroom, where everyone got a topic to speak on for a minute. Based on that, some of us were shortlisted. Then, there was an aptitude round with 60 questions to be solved in 90 minutes. The questions were mostly math-related, covering shapes (area, volume, surface area, perimeter), ages, and SI-CI. After that, the shortlisted candidates went for a technical round. This round was quite easy, with questions mainly about DBMS, basic OOPs principles, and software testing concepts. Finally, the shortlisted candidates had an HR round with general questions.

I interviewed at infinite 2 weeks ago. The first round was a walk-in that started late, and I waited for 5 hours. It was for a Manual + SQL role. I was shortlisted for the second round, which lasted 5 hours and included 4 separate rounds with 2 different panels and their managers. After clearing that, the manager round focused on automation and API experience, which was unexpected for a manual testing role. One panel rejected me for unknown reasons despite my good performance, while another panel selected me. They put me on hold for 15 days, and then offered a 15% hike, lower than the initial 30% promised by HR, and for a manual role despite needing automation skills. When I agreed to the 15% and submitted documents, on the day of final HR formalities, they rescinded the offer, citing they found an immediate joiner, even though my 30-day notice period was known from the start. This was a waste of my time, and they seemed to be hiring for free. It was a terrible experience, and I will not interview with infinite again.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Questions about manual testing and SQL were asked.
  • Did you have experience with automation?
  • Do you have experience with API testing?
