The whole hiring process was super smooth and they kept me in the loop. For the interviews, it started with a 30-minute phone chat, then there was a 2-hour video panel where I had to present a PowerPoint showing my career portfolio. The hiring manager was in charge of both parts, with recruiters helping out with the communication side of things.

First, I had a phone call with HR. Then, my future manager called me for a more technical phone interview. A week after, I went for an on-site interview. It included a 45-minute technical presentation and then 10 one-on-one interviews during the day. Be ready for technical questions and questions about why you want to work for Infinera. The people there are friendly, smart, and motivated. I got the job offer a couple days later and I'm glad I took it. The work is interesting and challenging, and the team is dedicated. The company cares about the environment and health, with reusable resources and a gym on site. Overall, it's a great place to work.

We start with one or two phone calls to screen candidates. If that goes well, you'll come to our office for an interview. The interview begins with a presentation of your past work. I didn't have a PowerPoint, so I used the whiteboard. After that, you might have two to four technical interviews on the same day.
