The interview process involved a technical screen where I was asked about my familiarity with design patterns. I have experience with several, including Singleton, Factory, and Observer. As an example, I used the Singleton pattern in a previous project to manage a configuration manager, ensuring only one instance was active. This helped reduce resource usage and kept the application's state consistent across different parts.

Behavioral Technical

After submitting my application, I was invited to an online interview quite quickly. In this interview, besides introducing myself and getting to know the interviewers (one from HR and one from the technical department), I was asked about my technical background and explored my previous experience. The very pleasant interview concluded after about 1.5 hours. I received immediate feedback and the next steps were discussed. Since I applied much earlier than I was actually available, but the position really appealed to me, the next interview took place two months later, although we were in contact with each other during this time. (This also explains the rather long application process duration). So my interest was gauged and it was discussed that I was still being considered. Finally, I received an invitation for an in-person interview with the core team, which was very enjoyable! This allowed me to directly meet the people I would be working with in the future. Two days later, I received the offer (:
