Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at INEOS.
Accountant
After submitting an online application, I had one in-person interview. I interviewed with the senior team, and the whole process was pretty smooth and quick. It was all wrapped up in under 3 weeks, and they let me know the result over the phone.
- Did you get any technical questions?
- Were there any generic interview questions?
Accountant
I interviewed with the controller and another employee. It felt like a formal interview and they had a list of questions. The questions were pretty standard, like how I'd react in certain situations or about my previous jobs and Excel skills. They seemed nice but the vibe was a bit tense and serious, and the office was quiet.
- Can you describe your strengths and weaknesses?
- What is your primary motivation?
- How would you respond to a specific scenario?
Financial Accountant
The process started with an email interview. They sent documents via email, which I had to print, answer by hand, and then scan and email back within 48 hours. After that, I received an offer and the next steps involved signing a contract agreement and uploading my passport. I'm still waiting to hear about what comes next.
- What are your 5-year career aspirations?
