The recruiter reached out to schedule a phone call, which I was happy to do. The recruiter was really bubbly and seemed to love working for Industrious, and was happy to answer my questions. After the call, I was told I'd get an email with a task to answer situational questions within two days. However, I never received any follow-up and was ghosted. For a company that talks about hospitality, I was pretty unimpressed and didn't feel like that's how you treat people.

I applied for the job and the recruiter emailed to schedule a call. I replied that I couldn't make those times and asked to chat the next day. She didn't reply for like 3 weeks, then reached out again wanting to do a phone call. It was a long process with 5 interviews total. The first was with the recruiter on the phone, then there were 4 more: one with the Community Manager, one with the Launcher, one with the National Launch Manager, and finally one with the COO. Usually, interviews 2 through 5 were video calls. The interview process was really fast. Interviews 1, 2, and 3 were all back-to-back over three days, and then interviews 4 and 5 were the next week. Once I started interviewing, the whole thing moved super quickly.

The hiring process moved pretty fast and was quite simple. The initial recruiter call was positive and made me feel really enthusiastic about the company. However, the video interview that followed was less enjoyable. I felt prejudged before the conversation even started. The community manager I spoke with appeared completely uninterested in my responses, and their smile didn't reach their eyes. This call shifted my perspective entirely, and I realized it might not be the right place for me. I was told I'd receive an update by Saturday, but I didn't hear back until Wednesday. My main piece of advice would be to respect the interviewee's time and not drag them through the process if they're clearly not a fit.
