First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Industrious.
Area Manager
I was contacted by a recruiter about a phone interview for an Area Manager role. That went well, and we scheduled a video interview with an actual Area Manager for a few days later. On the day of the interview, I waited in the Zoom waiting room for an hour, but nobody showed up. I let the recruiter know, and she apologized, explaining the Area Manager wasn't notified about the meeting. We rescheduled. Two days later, I joined the Zoom call again, and the interviewer was a few minutes late. During the interview, I felt like it wasn't genuine; it seemed like they already had someone in mind and were just going through the motions, possibly to keep their options open or fulfill a requirement to interview other candidates. It felt like a waste of my time, and they might have missed out on a valuable employee.

- What drives you?
- How do you approach task prioritization?
Area Manager
Lots of interviews, but they moved pretty fast between each one. They let me know what was happening next.
- What initiatives would you pursue in your market?
Area Manager
I interviewed with Industrious twice and was ghosted twice. The first time, I had a few calls and connected well with the hiring manager, almost getting an offer. But the hiring manager left, and contact stopped. I reached out to the old hiring manager on Linkedin months later, and got connected to a new one. I went through several more rounds, including a skills assessment I spent time on. Again, the hiring manager left, and I never heard back. It's crazy how disorganized and careless this company is about hiring, especially when they say they care. I can't imagine how they keep talent with how often hiring managers leave. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice... I don't recommend applying here.
