First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Industrial Info Resources.
Customer Service Representative
I went through 2 interviews, one with a hiring manager and another with a sales VP. It was mostly behavioral, asking about my past performance in renewal. I also attended a company outlook presentation and I'm sure they watched how I interacted with customers.
- What motivates you to work in client services?
IT Project Analyst
Got a call from the recruiter about a week after applying. The process was pretty straightforward. They asked some basic technical and behavioral questions. It only took about 15 minutes. I got to ask my questions at the end.
- Can you explain the correct procedures for documenting changes made to software?
Business Development
The process was simple: first, an online application, then a phone interview in English and Spanish, followed by an in-person interview. After that, routine medical checks (blood, psychological, etc.). There was also a section in Portuguese.
- Do you have any referrals within the company?
Market Researcher
It was laid back, comfortable, and I learned a lot. I was working at a restaurant at the time and was told by Ed Lewis to come in with what I had on, they didn't mind. I would suggest of course that you were nice attire for a job interview, but they saw me as a person, and they saw the potential in me. Of course, there were the required interview questions and etc. but it was really pleasant. They asked me about my goals and informed me about how IIR could help me reach those goals.
- Regarding your future, where do you envision yourself in 5 years?
- And looking further, where do you see yourself in 10 years?
- Could you share what motivates you?
