About three weeks after applying, I had a phone screen with a senior associate who talked about the job and asked about my background. Three weeks later, I went to the office for an in-person interview. This included three one-on-one interviews, an Excel problem-solving task, a presentation about my research, and lunch with other associates. The presentation was pretty standard. The problem-solving part involved doing exploratory data analysis on energy and temperature data from Boston and Miami. I got feedback later, and they said I didn't clearly show interest in the role and didn't prove enough critical thinking during the problem-solving session, which is why I didn't get an offer.

The interview started with a phone screen, then a full-day (7 hours with breaks) session. This included a presentation I had to give, 4-5 one-on-one meetings, and a skills assessment. It felt repetitive and took up a lot of time. I was pretty bummed to get a rejection email that was basically automated and gave no feedback.

It was a full day of interviews where I met with 7 different people, including Research Analysts, Associates, Senior Associates, and a Principle. There was an hour-long case study involved. The interviewer came in to get my answer before the hour was over (I'm wondering if they do this on purpose), so I had to think on my feet to summarize my work and come to a conclusion.

The whole interview day lasted from 9am to 4pm. It started with individual interviews with people from different positions. After that, I had to give a 15-minute presentation about a research project I had finished and then complete a problem-solving exercise.
