First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Industrial Bank.
Graduate Trainee
The interview process was disrespectful, rude, immoral, and unpunctual, a complete waste of time. I waited for over 3 hours to meet the panel. I definitely do not recommend this company and hope they reflect on their behavior.
- What was your college entrance exam grade and ranking?
- Please specify your hometown exactly, including the city.
Treasury Sales Analyst
HR reached out via email to set up a face-to-face interview at their office. They were flexible with scheduling outside of work hours. Two interviewers conducted the interview, focusing on behavioral questions only, with no technical ones, reflecting a very traditional Chinese corporate culture.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What are your reasons for wanting to leave your current position?
Investment Banking Associate
Went through a few 1 on 1s with MD, Partner, and HR. Then had a 4 hour super-day with 3 other MDs, which included a writing test with technical and IQ questions. They also took a while to get back to me.
- Can you share an instance where you disagreed with your director?
- Technical questions
- IQ questions
Consumer Protection Specialist
So the interview process was two rounds. The first was a 20-minute chat with the hiring manager. Then, there was a 30-minute session with the director. They asked behavioral questions and scenario questions, which weren't super tough but you definitely need to be prepared, especially for the scenario ones.
- Can you tell me about difficulties you have faced?
- How do you handle time management?
