Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Inductis.
Programme Analyst
I had a campus interview with 3 rounds, speaking with 2 managers and 1 vice president. They posed interesting puzzles I hadn't encountered before, which I nearly solved or at least demonstrated approaches for. They provided guidance when I presented options, and overall, I had an excellent conversation with them about future aspects, leading to my selection.
- Puzzles were asked primarily in each round
Programme Analyst
It's a thorough process with multiple rounds of interviews, but the first one is the most important. If you clear the first round, your chances of being selected are high.
- Given a puzzle, explain your thought process for reaching the solution, focusing on methodology over the correctness of the final answer.
Analyst
The interview started with a phone call where I was given two simple puzzles, the kind you find on interview puzzle websites. One puzzle was about using 2, 5, and 9-liter buckets to measure exactly 6 liters. The other was about measuring time with burning candles. They also asked about my current job, SQL queries, and statistics. Unfortunately, I didn't do well in the 1:1 interview with the senior manager because the question was incomplete, which led to me not being able to solve it.
- Could you describe what you do in your current role?
- What are your motivations for changing jobs, given that you're well-compensated and advancing in your current position?
- Why are you looking to switch jobs even though you're earning well and getting promoted?
