The conversation was informal and relaxed, with the interviewer cracking jokes which made things less awkward. We conducted the interview over the internet, which can be a bit uncomfortable for me as I prefer in-person interactions. The interviewer provided immediate feedback on my responses.

The interview was mostly about my personal background and if I was okay with shift work. I wish it was more about the actual job. The hiring manager spent a lot of time explaining the long hours and what retail operations would be like, and it felt more like a warning than an encouragement.
