Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IndiGo.
Security Officer
I had my interview at Chennai on December 24, 2021. First, they asked to write my application code on the resume along with vaccine dosage details. Instructions were provided. The first round was a 'Just A Minute' where I had to speak about anything for one minute. In the second round, they reviewed resumes to see if candidates were suitable for CS/Security/Ramp roles and asked for our preferences. After a few questions, I was asked to wait outside. After two hours, we were called back, informed we were shortlisted, and offered a salary package of 1.8 LPA. We were then assigned a destination airport based on proximity. Within two days, I received an email for document verification from BLR HR, and we submitted our documents. It's been about three months, and I still haven't heard about medical verification or an offer letter. I contacted HR to inquire about the delay, and they said they currently have no requirement for security personnel and will inform me when they do. I received this update only after three months and after I followed up. Overall, the interview experience was positive, but they didn't seem to prioritize informing candidates about the details.
- Can you introduce yourself?
