Machine Learning Intern
applied on linkedin got shortlisted for interview After interview got mail that i cracked the interview and got accepted for ML intern role . The interview was easy , 2 DSA questions , pretty basic on factorials etc (just want to check logic and ability to code)
- What are your thoughts on recursion in python?
- Can you tell me about your resume?
- What are the fundamentals of ML?
Postdoctoral Fellow
The interview process was quite detailed and focused on the fundamentals. It included several assignments after the initial discussion. I met with a panel of 3 faculty members who shared information about their ongoing projects and assessed my comprehension of them.
- Can you describe your Ph.D. research?
- What is your methodology for tackling research challenges?
- How do you view our current projects?
Graduate Student
So basically, the interview was pretty technical and structured, a panel did it to see how smart I am and if I can solve problems. First, they asked about my schoolwork and research stuff, like what I'm interested in and what I want to do. Then, they really dug into the computer science basics like OS, computer architecture, algorithms, and math. The last part was all about coding challenges, specifically dynamic programming, to see if I could actually use what I know to solve hard problems on the spot.
- Tell me about your research and its impact on computer science.
Research Intern
The interview was about 30 minutes. They started by asking me to describe my project and the tech stack I used. Then we talked about Deep learning (ML frameworks). They mentioned the lab requires knowledge of PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Can you elaborate on the ML frameworks and some deep learning concepts you are familiar with?
