Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Independence Plus.
Registered Nurse
The interview process was easy and the recruiter was nice and enthusiastic. The location was ideal in Oakbrook and the facilities were nice and the office was spacious. Some of the employees seemed nice too.
- How did you find out about this opportunity?
Registered Nurse
The interview process was quick and straightforward. I had to complete two exams. They asked about ventilators, which was new territory for me, but I ended up taking an 8-hour class on them. It was quite demanding but ultimately very beneficial. Having prior experience in home health and with patients who have CP or seizure disorder was also a plus.
- Have you ever worked with ventilators?
Registered Nurse
Had a long talk with the nurse recruiter about my past patient diagnoses and my experiences with them. We talked about my comfort level with higher acuity. They made really general comments about the work that's expected from the nurse.
- When could I start?
- What is my address?
