had an initial interview with the company, then set up interviews with companies. Good communication, followed up with daily calls at a minimum and kept in touch with the other companies to make sure process moved along smoothly.

I applied for an account manager role, but during the initial screening call with the recruiter, I was told I'd actually be starting as a recruiter. That call was quick and went well. Then I had a second interview with the same recruiter via Teams, which was longer and focused on behavioral questions. A week later, I was told I'd move on to a third interview with two local hiring managers via Teams. I thought it went great, but after another week, I found out I wasn't selected. When I asked the recruiter why, they said, 'we decided to choose someone else.' The whole process took 4 weeks to get a rejection. It's frustrating because my background is more than entry-level, and this job is specifically entry-level. They told me during the interview they liked my answers, which gave me false hope. Save your time.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was very long. I had multiple 1-2 hour phone calls with their HR manager, their operations VP, and their president over the course of 4-5 weeks. Then they flew me out to Tulsa for an all-day interview, including lunch. Finally, they asked for references. The entire process was very personal and seemed great. Then they made an offer. Besides being far lower on base salary than they had indicated, there were many benefits that were not listed in the offer letter. When I responded to ask that these be specified and listed, also asking for a higher salary, they responded by pulling my offer. They said that, "It seemed like I didn't trust them". Pulling an offer is almost unheard of in the business world and completely unprofessional. Expecting a company to clarify and clearly state benefits that have been promised through the month-long interview process is very typical. This is a sketchy company at best and I am very happy that I didn't end up working here. The pay is horrible and the expectation of blind trust for new hires is predatory. Also, living in Tulsa for 4 months sounds horrible.

I first talked to a recruiter, then had a round table with four interviewers. They were super friendly and made it relaxed. I heard back the next day and they said they were moving forward. The interview questions covered what's the difference between client and server, pass by reference vs pass by value, and overriding vs overloading. The rest were behavioral questions.
