The interviewer was really nice and friendly. First, they asked me to introduce myself and then asked about my past projects. After that, they asked some technical questions about Python and SQL, and also some HR questions. To wrap things up, I was given a puzzle to solve.

Call for the scheduled drive of 100+ people from different consultancies. I reached on 10 AM, and had to wait for 1 hour. There was a written test for Python Programming. I have cleared that, and that was tough. Then one face to face, Person was python developer and asking system internals, very difficult round, I have cleared that one too. 2nd round was manager, who was continuously going out and coming in between the interview not able to concentrate as he mentions they called too much candidate and the panel is less. He asked my CTC, his reaction was oh it's too much we can't offer that. I left for the day :) They are taking interview of Python QA who can work in outdated Language RUBY I've told them it will not be good for Python person to move into RUBY. HR told me they will revert me on Monday but I knew they won't.

It was a very basic interview process with 3 rounds. The last round included behavioral questions and CTC discussion. After 4 days, HR responded after several calls and said “your feedback is not positive”. I was the second candidate to arrive, and I had 3 rounds of interviews. In the last round, an interviewer asked about CTC and expected CTC, and we discussed ODC culture and shift timings. So, if the feedback was not positive, what was the point of discussing salary? Either the HR team is not mature enough, or the interviewers themselves can't judge positive from negative feedback. If it's all about the package, negotiations can be tried, and if you can't do that, then the HR team is not capable.
