It was mostly personal questions, so be ready to answer truthfully. Everyone was pretty nice and it wasn't difficult at all. They seem to be hiring quite a bit. They go over your resume and ask questions about it. Then we talked about pay and availability. It was all pretty standard, nothing out of the ordinary.

I applied at a bunch of restaurants because I really wanted to work there! The interview process is super quick, like 10-15 minutes, so you gotta be ready with your answers. After four interviews, I saw a pattern: a shift manager or store manager would come out, introduce themselves, and ask why I wanted to work at In-N-Out, what I knew about the company, how I handle stress, why I left my last job (if I had customer service experience), and then throw in a random question like what I was most proud of. They'd finish by asking if I had any questions. Always ask questions and try to chat for another minute or two; it shows you're interested and can make small talk with customers. I got hired on the spot at the fourth place, but at the others, I had to go back for a second interview. It totally depends on their needs, management, and how you do the first time. Timeline: Applied online, got an email to schedule an interview the same day, had the interview two days later, got hired on the spot, and got an onboarding email two days after that.

The first interview went pretty good and I was told on the spot I would have a second interview. This was way better than my friends' experiences since they said In N Out would get back to them but they never did. The second interview also went well. They told me they'd get back to me in a week. But it took them three weeks and a lot of follow-ups from me to finally hear that my school and extracurricular schedule wouldn't work. It's wild to me that it took them so long to figure out my schedule wasn't a fit for their part-time job while leading me on. It was super frustrating and I'll definitely be telling others how they handle people.
