The interview process took over 15 hours across more than a month, including a take-home assignment which was a red flag. After a verbal offer, there was a period of silence despite follow-ups. The recruiter eventually explained they were reconsidering an internal referral but I was still the top choice. A week later, an email confirmed they chose the other candidate. The hiring manager did not communicate directly after the verbal offer. This experience with the team was very negative, wasting time and causing anxiety, and ultimately felt like the effort was disregarded.

I had an interview with a recruiter, then the hiring manager. After that, there was a technical assignment. I then had about 4-5 interviews with different team members. Everyone was really nice and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Sadly, I never heard back after the last interview, which was a bummer. I get that they can't reply to everyone, but people who make it to the final round should get an update.

Behavioral

I interviewed with Impossible Foods earlier this year and really enjoyed every part of it. Everyone I met was smart and committed to the mission, and they were super friendly too. HR was upfront about everything during the whole interview process, and although I didn't get the job, I appreciated that they were straight with me about why they picked the other candidate and gave me specific feedback.
