Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Impossible Foods.
Intern
started with a basic screening call, then had a 'super day' where I interviewed with three scientists back-to-back. These were a mix of fit and competency questions, mostly focused on understanding my thought process.
- How would you test business ideas if you had a limited budget?
Intern
It was a very technical and long interview, 45 minutes for a first round phone screen. The interviewers seemed to be looking for an understanding of theory and whether you have background on the company.
- Tell me about a situation where you had to solve a problem on your own without assistance.
Intern
It was a basic interview process with 2 rounds. The first round was with one member of the team I would be joining. The second round was with 3 members who asked role-specific questions and about my experiences.
- Could you describe the skills you possess that are relevant to this role, such as any experience you have with copywriting?
