Technical Project Manager
Pathetic experience, stay away if you want to save time and efforts. The panel and TA are misaligned. Panel have no clarity of role against skill they are evaluating, they don't check the skill or CV of the candidate. Expectations from 2 rounds of interview were completely different from the 3rd round and the 3rd round panel was mostly blank asking questions for a different role. Gave the same feedback to the TA. I went and saw their Noida office and it looked as if it can collapse anyday.
- What is the reason for your job change?
Architect
3 Rounds total. It started with an HR screening and shortlisting. After that, I went through reference checks. The first technical round focused on cloud and solution building. Then there was a Sr. Solution Architect technical interview that covered system design and building architecture, along with some theory questions. Finally, there was a Direction Round, which was also technical.
- Could you explain what a load balancer is?
- What distinguishes a load balancer from an API gateway?
- Can you tell me why one would choose RDS?
Data Engineer
The first round was a deep dive into Spark. We covered advanced Spark internals, memory management for drivers and executors, and Spark's task scheduling and execution. We also reviewed DAGs in depth, looking at execution plans, physical and logical plans, the Catalyst Optimizer, and AQE with examples. Additionally, we discussed Structured Streaming, dynamic resource allocation in Spark, handling skewed data, job failures and retry mechanisms, different types of schedulers, default join types and their differences, and changes to broadcast join defaults.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Software Engineer
It was a pool campus drive hosted by my college. I got selected from the first round, which was a coding round with two medium-level DSA questions. Out of 150 students selected from 10 colleges, I proceeded to my first interview where they asked basic questions on core subjects like OOPM, OS, and two linked list questions: reversing a linked list and finding the intersection of two linked lists. I answered everything and was immediately selected for the second interview. Although I work on the MERN stack and expected questions about my resume and projects, the interview was completely different and focused on DBMS with complex queries and questions, not on my skills.
- Can you sort a stack using an auxiliary stack?
