Behavioral Presentation

The interview process started off well with two calls, one with recruitment and another with the hiring manager. After that, I had my final interview which was a panel interview lasting one hour. During the panel interview, I gave a presentation and then answered some questions. After the interview, I was given a tour of the lab and met some of the team. So far, it was professional and organized. However, the process really soured after the interview due to a lack of communication. I was told I would get feedback within two weeks, but I didn't hear anything for nine weeks. Eventually, I got rejected. I respect the decision, but the silence made me feel disregarded. The lack of communication reflects poorly on the company and their respect for applicants, especially considering the effort put into the later stages.

Behavioral Presentation

I had 5 one-on-one interviews with different business leaders. They looked at my CV and my past work. They asked standard questions about my experience with launches and in oncology. Some of the interviews were reversed, where I got to learn about the company culture and where the business is headed.

Behavioral Technical Other

Applied Sept/Oct 2021, the final interview was in May 2022, after 6 interviews over several months. The entire project management department left last year, and it seems like the same individuals who caused that mass departure are still with the company. The CFO, in particular, seemed to be from a different era and was unhappy to hear I left my previous job for work-life balance. He asked vague questions, got frustrated with my broad answers, and even asked me about a company that no longer existed, despite it being bought out 8 years prior. He also got annoyed when I wouldn't discuss confidential genetic packaging and research information, which felt like a major red flag, especially since my former employer could be considered a competitor. This company expects overtime and being onsite is crucial, which are more red flags. On a positive note, the new project director and HR partner were knowledgeable and friendly in earlier interviews. The project director seemed overwhelmed, unable to schedule even a short call between 8 am and 6 pm.
