Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IMG Worldwide.
Intern
I did a written application with competency based questions, then a phone interview, then I was invited to the assessment centre. The assessment centre had an ice breaker, group presentation, memory task, written task and then a half an hour interview after. The people were quite friendly, I didn't get any further though.
- Why IMG?
Intern
The interview was on Skype and it went really well. The HR person was super nice and got back to my emails really fast before the interview to make sure everything was set. I had to give a 5-minute presentation about why I wanted to work at IMG and how my background and studies fit the job description. It was a bit tricky to 'present' over Skype, but I managed okay in the end.
- Can you share a time when you did more than what was asked of you?
Intern
After applying online, I heard back via email that I'd been selected for an interview. I went to one of the company's offices in New York for the interview, which was with current employees. The interview itself was pretty straightforward.
- Who would be your choice for a lunch companion, living or dead, and what's your reasoning?
