Electrical Engineer
You attend an in-person interview at the building and meet with the senior engineer. This interview is not technical, focusing instead on your skills and suitability for the role.
- What makes you want this job?
Electrical Engineer
It was a great conversation. Two interviewers asked a lot of questions. They mainly asked personality questions, no puzzles or hard questions. They asked about handling workplace situations.
- Questions about handling workplace situations were asked.
Electrical Design Engineer
I talked to HR and picked up on some serious red flags. She seemed to be testing how gullible I was and used a lot of tricky language. She mentioned that people there are expected to work at least 42-48 hours a week. When I asked about the company culture, she avoided giving a direct answer, just saying 'it's changing.' She said she'd arrange an interview with the hiring managers, but I never heard back. The whole experience gave me the impression that the company exploits its engineers.
- Can you explain a technical topic to someone without any technical knowledge?
