Support Engineer
Had a phone screen, then a few short and comfortable chats with support engineers and managers. The final part was a group interview that included a learning session and a technical skills test. Overall, it was a comfortable and casual interview, very conversational. Make sure to prepare questions to ask.
- What makes you want this job?
Support Engineer
The interview process started with a phone interview that was mostly about getting to know me. The first in-person interview involved discussing my resume, understanding my problem-solving approach with examples, and a brief overview of the role. The second in-person interview was a lengthy four-hour group session that included a presentation, lunch, and a collaborative problem-solving activity. It appears to be a truly unique and fulfilling company to work for. However, it's disappointing that they don't provide any communication about the hiring status or acknowledge candidates who proceed with other options, especially after investing significant time and travel for the interviews. I would have appreciated some feedback on my performance and areas for improvement, as the interview experience itself was a valuable learning opportunity.
- Could you share instances from your past jobs, internships, or school projects where you demonstrated problem-solving skills?
Senior Technical Support Engineer
The interview process had two stages. The first was an hour long, and the second was only 5 minutes. It was pretty disappointing because the recruiter kept following up, but then when I asked for an update, they ignored me, which felt very unprofessional.
