First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Illumio.
Sales Manager
The hiring process was upfront and easy to understand from the start. HR laid out the high-level overview and timelines, and the hiring managers clearly communicated what was expected and any prep needed. Everything went smoothly and quickly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
- Show me your business plan and sales strategy.
Channel Sales Manager
My interview at Illumio involved several phone calls, an aptitude test, a personality assessment, and a half-day onsite interview. While the interviewers were smart and friendly, the process itself felt a bit disjointed compared to other companies. There were some confusing messages, significant delays, and changes to the process even after the final interview. I still think Illumio will do great things.
- How would you convince a major resale partner to choose Illumio instead of competing products?
Sales Manager
It was a pretty straightforward process with the hiring manager first. Then I met with folks from marketing, a peer colleague, and HR. They were supportive about launching the territory and providing the necessary resources. The interviewers seemed to have a positive outlook. Overall, it was a really good experience.
- Can you tell me about your ability to manage a sales territory?
- How do you feel about managing a new territory and what would that look like?
- What kind of support do you think you would need to get a new territory off the ground?
