First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at iLink Digital.
Software Engineer Trainee
The interview was held on campus and everything went well. They asked me questions related to SQL, Python, DSA, and Azure. Since I was a fresher, the interview level was considered interim. They also asked about the college projects I had worked on. The interviewer seemed focused on new technologies and my resume.
- Can you explain the difference between a Python dictionary and a Java HashMap?
Intern
It was a 3 round process: a technical interview, a managerial interview, and an HR interview. The technical part was pretty good; they asked me about SQL, OOPs, and DBMS concepts, as well as web development and my college projects, including my role and the stack I used.
- Can you explain what joins are and provide an example of how they function?
Technical Specialist
The entire interview process was wrapped up in under a week. There were essentially 3 rounds: first, a technical architect interview, then a technical manager interview, and finally an HR interview. If you're familiar with the necessary technologies and the process, it should be manageable.
- Can you discuss data modelling concepts?
- What are your thoughts on Power BI concepts?
- Do you have experience with DAX?
Marketing Associate
Got a call from HR and the first interview was scheduled in two days. It went great, with questions about my past work. I got confirmation that I was selected, but there was an issue with the offered salary not matching my expectations. I asked about negotiation, since I had confirmed my expectations before interviews started. A senior manager interviewed me again. After that, I followed up for two months, and was repeatedly told my profile was on hold with only a few formalities left. Finally, after two months, I was informed the position was filled internally.
