The interview experience was pretty good, but it really needed some practice and a review of your Java notes. I can guarantee you won't pass if you don't practice at all.

I had some technical chats with the data science team and also behavioral interviews with HR. Everything moved quickly and without a hitch, and they were always positive. I'd definitely suggest working there.

Behavioral Technical

I was contacted on LinkedIn and went through three interviews over one week, each going better than the last. I got positive feedback and thought my experience was a perfect match for what they needed in a recruiter. After the final interview, things felt strange. No offer came, no more interviews were scheduled, and I didn't get a clear explanation of the next steps, even when I asked about the salary. I followed up twice and was told to expect feedback by the end of the week each time. After about two and a half weeks with hardly any communication, they told me the position was no longer open in my area because they wanted a local candidate, even though the job was listed as remote and the company said they were expanding to my state. I've been job hunting for over six months and really thought this was it. With each day that passed without a response, that hope faded. Being a job seeker is tough, and I wish companies would respect our time more. Many of us need to get back to work and deal with the financial fallout from layoffs, and experiences like this make a hard situation even more disappointing. I don't have any hard feelings toward the HR/recruiting team, but I suggest being upfront about the process and expansion plans in the future, especially if a local candidate is likely to be chosen.

Technical Coding

It was simple, but confusing! The management led the process, but it got lost (several emails for different processes, some for the same one). There was a simplistic technical test with questions from reality years ago (waterfall model) and not the current one (agile). After passing, you find the client with 'derivations' of this! Negotiation for a slightly higher amount, but the proposal brought back the previous (lower) value.
