First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ikos Consulting.
Generalist Engineer
I was contacted by IKOS for an interview, which I attended in person. The conversation initially went well. However, I was asked to provide reference contacts and write a skills dossier, without any template or framework provided. Despite these efforts and the time invested, I received no feedback after the interview. I tried to follow up several times, by email and phone, without getting a response. This lack of follow-up and consideration is disappointing and, in my opinion, does not reflect professional recruitment practices. A simple response, even negative, would have been appreciated.

Railway Engineer
First, there was a standard online interview. Then, an onsite interview where we discussed job aspirations, knowledge and skills, and a quick check of spoken language proficiency. Finally, I had to fill out a typical consultant personal file to be shown to the client.

- Why are you interested in consulting?
- What are your desired job roles?
Ingénieur D'études
The business engineer explained their role: analyze client needs, propose suitable technical solutions, negotiate contracts, follow projects until delivery, while ensuring satisfaction and profitability. Then, the business engineer described their daily routine: prospecting new markets, preparing commercial offers, coordinating with technical teams, managing client relationships, and anticipating changes to ensure competitiveness.
- Can you present the company?
Mechanical Engineer
The hiring process is really unpredictable and annoying. It starts off seeming easy and clear, but then it gets bad once they stop responding. Even after you put in time and effort to finish the technical documents they give you, there's no response or communication. You have to keep asking for updates, sending emails, and calling them, but they just ignore you. Then, after weeks of silence, you get a casual, 'Oops, we must have forgotten to let you know we won’t be moving forward with your application.' It's disappointing, unprofessional, and shows a lack of respect for candidates’ time.
- Regarding your salary expectations, what range are you looking for?
- Could you elaborate on your past work experiences?
- Tell me about the tasks and roles you've performed previously.
