To get an interview, you first had to meet a GATE score cutoff. Before the actual interview, you needed to pick a subject you wanted to be tested on. A programming interview is required no matter your chosen topic. The interview will have 3 panels: Systems, theoretical, and ML/DL/AI.

- There was a programming interview after DBMS questions. The programming was strictly in C language. The questions were easy like finding the second last node in a linked list and so on.

It was a fair interview with a panel of 5-6 interviewers. They asked thought-provoking questions and helped us reach the answers. I think they wanted to see if we understood the material and how we tackled new problems, to gauge our research aptitude.
