Software Development Engineer
The interview process is how companies figure out if you're a good fit for a job. It has different parts, from when you apply to when they pick someone. 1. First, they look at your resume and application to see if you have the right skills, experience, and qualifications for the role. If you make the cut, you go to the next part. 2. Then, there's usually a call or video chat with HR or a recruiter. They want to know about you, how you talk, what you want to do in your career, how much you expect to get paid, and if you're in the right place and can start soon. The goal here is to see if you're basically right for the company.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Software Engineer
The process started with a Hackerrank shortlisting based on a LeaderBoard. Then, there were 2 tech rounds, followed by a tech round with the CTO. All rounds focused on Algo DS. Having clear conceptual knowledge is key to passing.
- Tell me about your projects.
- Discuss your knowledge of Algorithms and Data Structures.
- What is your experience with SQL?
Software Developer
The interview process involved 3 rounds: an HR interview, a technical interview, and a technical test. These were organized with the technical test happening in college and the other interviews at their office. I'm not sure about the exact number of technical rounds, but only 2 out of 30 candidates passed the first technical round, and very few passed the HR round.
- Hi, could you tell me where you're from?
- Can you explain why Python is preferable to PHP?
- Would you consider a role as a Business Analyst here, given that it includes some technical responsibilities?
