The interview process is how companies figure out if you're a good fit for a job. It has different parts, from when you apply to when they pick someone. 1. First, they look at your resume and application to see if you have the right skills, experience, and qualifications for the role. If you make the cut, you go to the next part. 2. Then, there's usually a call or video chat with HR or a recruiter. They want to know about you, how you talk, what you want to do in your career, how much you expect to get paid, and if you're in the right place and can start soon. The goal here is to see if you're basically right for the company.

The HR made me wait for almost 20 minutes before showing up. He asked about my work history and background, but he just stared blankly at my resume and didn't seem to react while I was talking. After the interview, he said it would take a week to finalize and let me know the result. I specifically asked him to notify me either way because I don't want to be left waiting, as one week is already too long for someone looking for a job. To this day, I haven't received his call, and my calls get cancelled whenever I try to reach him. I mean, it's not the end of the world if I don't get the job, but at least have the decency to tell people directly.

I got there early but the employees were late and seemed uninterested. The interview was with two people. One was disengaged and on his phone, the other asked irrelevant questions. They said they don't judge past performance or academics, but they criticized my lower CAT score and my decision to pursue b-school, which they know nothing about. It was a bad experience, I had to ask HR for feedback. Please respect candidates and don't waste our time. If you want a specific person, screen better before calling. Work with HR for better judgment. Don't waste our time either. Heads up to those joining or interviewing.
