Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IIFL Finance.
Intern
It was a really deep dive, but totally focused on my resume. The interviewer was super nice, gave me time to answer, and helped me out if I wasn't quite hitting the mark. They really dug into my projects, and since I'm into web dev, all the questions were about that. We also touched on databases and architectures.
- What makes you want to join this company?
- Can you elaborate on your web development projects?
- Could you discuss your experience with databases?
Intern
The interview process involves understanding your domain knowledge and studying equity and derivatives, specifically the greeks. You should also learn about equity research, the EIC model, ratios, and how market cap is calculated. Make sure to study their operations in advance, including NSE and its offerings. Understand the difference between large, mid, and small-cap stocks. Don't be nervous!
- Can you tell me why you think you are the right candidate for this position?
