First up was a call with HR, where I was asked the usual stuff like why I wanted to join Markit, what my strengths and weaknesses are, etc. Things seemed to go fine, and I was scheduled to meet with the hiring manager the very next day. The HR person told me to ask for her when I arrived, but when I got there, she wasn't around. Nobody else seemed to know I was supposed to be there for an interview. When I mentioned it to the receptionist at the right time, she kind of brushed me off. So, I'm not sure if the hiring manager thought I was a no-show, but the assistant showed up 15 minutes after the scheduled interview time looking for me. It seems like they might be a bit disorganized, and the HR person definitely had a bit of an attitude.

Behavioral Case

The interview process involved some tests, specifically games-based tests. After that, there was a preliminary interview focused on culture fit, followed by a further interview that also assessed culture fit, and asked why I chose my degree and what skills I could bring to the role. The final stage was an assessment day with a lot of competency-based questions.

Behavioral Presentation

I went through 3 interviews for the ISR role. The first was with my reporting manager, the second with another sales manager, and the final one with the director. The interviews were pretty pleasant, mostly focused on understanding my motivations for seeking a new role. It's important to research the company, the specific job, and any recent news, and to be confident and clear in your answers.
