First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IHS Markit.
Intern
After an online test and a group discussion, I went through a few interview rounds. The first one was in person at their Gurgaon office. In that round, we all had to solve a puzzle, discuss our CVs, and talk about our projects. The next two interviews were done online via Teams. These online interviews were for a different job role, and they asked me general questions to understand me better, without any technical content.
- What are your post-graduation plans?
- Can you tell me about your resume?
Intern
The interview process was super simple and straightforward, mostly focused on my CV, with no technical questions at all. The interviewers were really engaging and friendly, making the whole thing smooth and enjoyable. I didn't actually prepare for it. They got back to me with feedback quickly, and the onboarding was also really fast.
- Could you tell us a bit about yourself?
- Do you have any previous experience?
- What made you interested in this specific role?
Intern
After applying online, I was contacted for an interview about one to two weeks later. The process involved one-on-one interviews with both the hiring manager and a team member. It was pretty straightforward, focusing on typical questions about my strengths and weaknesses, but mostly about the scope of the internship work and what I was expected to achieve.
- Can you tell me about your greatest strengths?
