General Manager
It was a standard in-person interview, pretty much like most others. The owner seemed neater than the Area Manager.
- Can you describe a situation where you had to make a tough decision?
- What do you think are the key elements for delivering excellent service?
General Manager
I was already an Assistant Manager and they asked me to apply for this role. For internal candidates, the process usually starts with an online application and an assessment test. Passing the test leads to a series of interviews. External candidates have a longer process since the senior management doesn't have internal metrics to evaluate them on.
- What would be your 90-day plan to improve this location if you were offered the job?
Assistant General Manager
Met with the district manager for an initial interview and got a tour of the restaurant and kitchen. Then, I met the general manager and the rest of the restaurant staff. Everyone spoke highly of the company. I would have loved to join them, but I had already decided to relocate to Nevada when they called.
- How would you contribute to the restaurant's success?
