Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IHG Hotels and Resorts.
Receptionist
The interview was very smooth and respectful, likely because of their professional management. However, I realized it wasn't the best fit for my career path, so I decided to decline their offer.
- Can you share your experience?
Receptionist
The interview was conducted in a pleasant and friendly manner. Specific questions were asked about professional experience and motivation. The job and details about salary and contract were clearly explained. Everything was good.
- Could you tell us a bit about yourself?
- What is your motivation?
- Why did you decide to apply for this position today?
Receptionist
I applied for a receptionist job on LinkedIn, and then HR emailed me about interviewing for a different position. Two people interviewed me, one was the HR person who emailed me. She was unprofessional, didn't talk much, sighed audibly, and seemed uninterested. At the end, they asked me to do a trial for another different position. I was ghosted for a month and then got an email asking me to come in for the trial with only a few days' notice. It was very unprofessional.
- Can you define what "luxury service" means to you?
