First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at iHerb.
Customer Service Representative
The interview process included three parts: a phone screen, a phone interview, and then a face-to-face interview. Everything went well. They asked general questions about customer service, like what it is and what the role involves. Then they asked more specific questions, such as how you would handle an angry customer.
- How would you handle an angry customer?
Customer Service Representative
I applied online. HR called me for a screening. Then I had an on-site interview. I followed up after two weeks, but they never responded, so I stopped trying. During the interview, they played a recording of a fast American accent message about Zendesk work emails, with details like dates, money amounts, time, and email counts. I didn't catch it all. There was also a written test where I had to handwrite responses to about three emails in Chinese and English on paper.
- What actions would you take if you couldn't meet your Key Performance Indicators?
- Can you describe a difficult situation you encountered and explain how you managed it?
Customer Service Representative
The hiring process was straightforward and easy. They don't ask many questions initially, but once you're on the job, you need to prove you can handle pressure and use your past experience and knowledge. The managers are great; they're patient and explain everything without putting pressure on you. It's the best place I've worked. The new management has made positive changes that have boosted sales and improved how the company operates.
- How many years of experience do you have in a related field?
