It started with a basic HR phone screen, which was pretty standard. Then I talked to the SVP of Engineering about their projects and how I'd fit in; he was knowledgeable and experienced. After that, I had an interview with two team members. One was more of a casual chat, but the other dug into my past projects with a lot of technical questions. I felt I didn't nail that part but managed to answer okay. Then I waited 2.5 weeks with no response, even after reaching out. I'm guessing I was ghosted, which is pretty frustrating and unprofessional.

It was a pretty standard interview process. Started with a phone screening, then a code screening, and finally a 4-hour main interview. The main interview was broken down into: 1 hour for System Design with whiteboarding, 1 hour for Computer Science basics with live coding, 1 hour for Concurrency/JVM with live coding (specifically Scala), and 1 hour for a Behavioral interview.

I reached out to the recruiter directly since I had her contact info from a referral. The interview process involved 3 main stages: first, a phone screen with the recruiter, then a technical interview on Zoom using HackerRank, and finally, a half-day in-person session. This last part had 6 separate 30-minute meetings with different people from the tech team, including a Product Manager and the Director of Web Engineering.
