Project Manager
I applied and was invited for an in-person interview shortly after. I spoke with two executives, who were friendly and put me at ease. The interview felt positive, and the company seemed like an exciting place to work. I was then contacted to schedule a second interview at their headquarters with a VP for a similar role in the same department. During this interview, the VP became quite curt when she learned I had no accounting background, even though the position I applied for was in marketing and the original manager had insisted on this second interview. She told me to follow up regarding any potential offer. However, I never heard back from anyone at the company about either position. It would be appreciated to receive some form of response after two interviews, rather than just rebranding and being perceived as a soulless conglomerate. Even an automated rejection would be better than complete silence.

Project Manager
First, the process stalled with the VP of Operations. It then restarted with a phone interview. The first round was with the hiring manager, the Sr Project Mgr. The second round, on a different day, was with other members of senior technical management: the EVP Technology, VP of Operations, Director of Project Mgmt, and CTO.
- What are your thoughts on implementing tech projects?
- How would you approach some big data questions, specifically regarding Hadoop?
- Describe how you would motivate and manage teams that do not directly report to you.
Project Manager
The interview process was straightforward and equitable. The recruiter was very pleasant, and I had a good conversation with them. I've always been interested in working for the company and was glad for the opportunity to connect with them. I'd suggest checking out their open job listings.
