Executive Assistant
An internal recruiter texted me to set up a call to discuss my background and logistics. The call was rushed and not well prepared. The time they gave me was unclear, and what I thought was PT turned out to be ET. Then, I met the hiring manager (CMO) within the following days. This meeting was held via Teams and off video. I sent a thank you email to the CMO after our conversation. The only way I could follow up with the recruiter was via text, and when I did (twice), I received no response. I was ghosted.
- Are you experienced with managing complex calendars and planning events?
Administrative Assistant
The interview process had 3 interviews total, with 2 phone interviews and 1 in person. It was a quick process, wrapped up in about 2 weeks. After the interviews, there were computer tests focusing on Word and Excel. Everyone I met was really nice and seemed enthusiastic about the role and the company.
- Have you previously supported sales teams in a similar capacity?
Senior Executive Assistant
The interview process was fairly straightforward. First, I chatted with the current assistant, and then a couple of weeks later, I had a conversation with the executive himself. Both conversations went well, but they ended up going with someone else in the end.
- Can you tell me about your past work experience?
- What are your aspirations for the future?
