Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at iHeartMedia.
Account Executive
I got referred by a senior employee. We went through a few interview rounds and had a mock presentation for the final one. A week and a half later, they told me they decided to go with other candidates who had more experience. I thought I got positive feedback throughout, especially during the mock presentation. A few weeks later, I saw they hired someone on LinkedIn who didn't have any relevant experience.

Account Executive
Had a phone screen, then two virtual interviews back to back, with one of them being with several people individually. Then I had to go in-person for a presentation. It was enjoyable, but I put a lot into it and didn't get an offer. The interviewers were really warm and genuine, which put me at ease.

Account Executive
Applied online and had a phone interview, then got invited to the office for an in person interview. I've always wanted to work for iHeartMedia, so I was excited about this interview. However, it was one of my least favorite interviews ever. All three people I interviewed with separately said that someone else would ultimately be responsible for hiring me. This was highly unprofessional and really turned me off. Each person mentioned a different person would be hiring me, which was alarming. Two out of three interviewers were very stern and made the experience unpleasant. I'm upset because I'm still a fan of iHeartMedia, but working there seems like it could be a horrible experience.
- Can you tell me about your past experience?
