Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IGT.
Marketing Analyst
The interview process was held in a single day and consisted of three interviews with the marketing manager, senior marketing manager, and the director. The questions were very basic and the interviewers were very friendly.
- Can you tell us about yourself and your work experience?
Market Analyst
I had an initial screening interview with the HR Manager. Then I interviewed with the Business and Insights Manager, followed by the Director of Marketing and the Product Manager. There were two on-site interviews before I got the offer. Each one was about an hour long. I got the offer within 2 days of the second on-site. I accepted the compensation offered because I knew there would be advancement opportunities.
- What motivated you to apply for this role?
Market Researcher
This interview process with IGT was awful. The interviewers were unfocused, and at times, they pointed to irrelevant things to distract me. The questions were really lame, like asking about my favorite and least favorite school classes and what I liked and disliked about my current profession. The employees argued and were rude to each other during the interview, criticizing one another. They asked vague questions, gave me assurances that I was hired on the spot, but then rejected me later. I really don't recommend working for them.
- Describe your process for researching a new topic.
- What were your favorite classes in school?
- What were your least favorite classes in school?
